China man who was folded in half for past 28 years, stands straight for the first time after surgery
A man named Li Hua from China, dubbed as 'Folding Man' for being folded in half, was able to stand straight for the first time in 28 years after a successful surgery. The man's face pressed against his thighs prior to the surgery. The man suffered an aggressive form of arthritis for more than two decades which left his body completely folded. Li Hua was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis at the age of 18.
