According to research by London-based climate data provider TransitionZero, China needs to cut its carbon emissions from coal-fired power plants to half by 2030 to achieve its aim of becoming carbon neutral by 2060. China is the world's biggest producer of climate-warming greenhouse gas. Matthew Gray, co-chief executive of TransitionZero said China could save significant assets by shifting to zero-carbon alternatives.
