Chinese authorities build highway around a woman's house

The 40-square-meter home is now in the midst of a two-lane road. Ms Liang was given 2 flats in exchange but she refused and requested the government provide her with 4 units. The highway was eventually completed, and a motorway bridge was built around the home. This is the Chinese equivalent of the UK home in the centre of the M62. According to sources, the ground on which her house is built is a "geological abnormality."
