Amid the rising voices of global powers against China, the presence of a Chinese guided-missile destroyer in the Indian Ocean and its role is under scrutiny. The Chinese Navy has been sending warships on anti-piracy missions constantly. The People's Liberation Army (Navy) have the Taiyuan, a Luyang III Class destroyer, the Jingzhou, a Jiangkai II class frigate along with the Chao Hu, a Fuchi class tanker.
