Climate change leads to melting of a third of Himalayan ice cap

A report was shared which revealed that at least a third of the Himalayas have doomed to melt due to climate change which will have serious consequences for almost 2 billion people. The landmark report said that even if there is a decrease in carbon emissions and there is a success in limiting global warming to 1.5C, 36% of the glaciers with the Hindu Kush and Himalaya range will have gone by 2100.
