Climate change may lead people to be “climate migrants”: Report

A report by World Bank warns about climate change and its consequences. According to the report, more than 140 million people in sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia and Latin America will become “climate migrants” by 2050. An urgent development needs to take place else the people in these hot spots could be pushed out by lower water availability. The situation can be controlled if greenhouse gas emissions are reduced.
