Controversies bring number of users down for Facebook in US
Facebook's private user data fiasco and controversial foreign influence campaigns have presented a very bleak aftermath for the social media platform with 3/4th of users making changes in using Facebook. A study carried by Pew Research Center has reported that 42% of the respondents have taken a break from Facebook in the last year while 26% deleted the app from their phones and 44% of them were 18-29 years of age.
