Coronavirus: Snapdeal lays off a portion of employees as the firm realigns itself for recovery

Snapdeal has laid off nearly 7% of its 750 full-time employees for 3 months as the company sees recovery in demand for goods during the lockdown 4.0. The affected employees are teams including product, technology, sales, etc. Many online ventures have reportedly either laid-off employees or claimed pay cuts like Ola, Zomato, Swiggy, Uber, OYO. Amazon & Flipkart have started taking orders for deliveries in the red zone.
