Coronavirus: US becomes first country to see more than 2000 deaths in a day
The death toll due to Covid-19 pandemic has crossed 100,000 across the world. US became the first country to report 2000 deaths in a single day. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump on Friday announced a new visa sanction norm, providing for visa denial to citizens of countries which either deny or dilly-dally in repatriating their citizens during the Covid-19 pandemic. The sanctions would be effective immediately.
