Cost of air pollution is $8 billion a day: Greenpeace

As per Greenpeace report, air pollution from burning fossil oil is causing the world $8 billion a day, which is 3.3% of the global domestic product. China, US and India bear the highest economic cost of increasing pollution, at an estimated $900 billion, $600 billion and $150 billion a year respectively. Billions of people continue to get affected daily despite the efforts of some countries to promote renewable energy.
