According to the tally of John Hopkins University, the United States today crossed 700,000 confirmed coronavirus cases. The US which has the highest number of cases and deaths in the world recorded 700,282 cases of COVID-19 and 36,773 deaths. Yesterday, US President Trump issued guidelines on lifting the lockdown and opening up the American economy in a phased manner by May 1. New York reported 3,778 new deaths.
