According to US government's top infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci, scientists would be able to know whether a coronavirus vaccine is safe and effective by early December. Medical experts in the country have expressed hope of getting several vaccines for COVID-19 by 2020-end or early 2021. Fauci said it is highly unlikely that a substantial proportion of the population is vaccinated before second or third quarter of 2021.
