Total death toll crosses 4,000 in Italy with record 627 new deaths in one day

Italy has recorded 627 patients dying due to Covid-19 illness overnight and the death toll is so far the largest daily rise. The spike in coronavirus deaths between Thursday & Friday is an increase of over 18%. The total death toll is 4,032 till date. Italy overtook China to register the most deaths from the deadly virus. Now, Italy has more than 47,000 cases of Covid-19 with nearly 3000 classified as critical.
