Covishield vaccine trials participant seeks compensation worth Rs. 5 crore

A 40-year-old person from Tamil Nadu who participated in the clinical trials of Covishield- the vaccine developed by the Serum Institute of India, has now demanded a compensation of Rs. 5 crores, alleging that he suffered a critical adversarial occasion after being administered the under-trial vaccine. R Rajaram, advocate for the complainant said they will "file a writ petition in courtroom subsequent week".
