Creation of artist Pak sold for $16.8 million in first NFT sale

In the first sale of art supported by NFTs, which was hosted by Sotheby's, 'The Cube' by artist Pak was sold for $16.8 million. This comes just a month after the sale of the NFT of the work "Everydays: The First 5,000 Days" by digital artist Beeple for $69.3 million. Cube is actually the name of an unlimited number of animated illustration files created by Pak. NFT is a new technology that means non-fungible token.
