Criminal cases to be filed against entire villages if found hiding Tablighi Jamaat people: Assam Health Minister

Assam health and finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced that from 6th April, criminal cases will be filed against entire villages if they are found hiding people who had attended the Tablighi Jamaat event in Nizamuddin area of Delhi. India saw a spike of 30% to 40% in number of coronavirus cases since the Islamic gathering. The minister gave a deadline till 6 PM on Sunday for Jamaat members to come out in open.
