Data by Health Ministry shows only 2,717 coronavirus patients on ventilator support

According to the data released by the union health ministry, only 0.33% or 2,717 Covid19 patients in the country are on ventilator. Nearly 3.5% of the active cases or those still recovering from coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in the country are on oxygen support. 83,507 new cases of the pandemic were reported on Thursday. 62% of the active cases in the country belong to five states of the country.
