Denied by officials, woman constructed toilet by begging in Bihar

Amina Khatoon, a poverty-stricken woman in Bihar has set an example in Bihar by constructing a toilet with the money she begged. She has been felicitated for this effort by the district administration. Amina works as a labour and had approached the officials to help her constructing a toilet amid all the “Swachh Bharat” hype. However, she was denied of that, highlighting the apathy towards the towards the poor.
