Do-Dodonpa, the world's fastest rollercoaster, which can hit top speeds of 172 km per hour in just 1.8 seconds, has been shut down after several riders broke their bones after taking the ride. The rollercoaster is located at Fuji-Q Highland in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi. It was designed and manufactured by S&S – Sansei Technologies and has been touted as the 'scariest'. Nearly 6 riders have suffered bone fractures since December 2020.
