Dragonflies can soon go extinct; climate change to blame

Male dragonflies lowered their total wing pigmentation to minimise response to the warmer temperature, according to a study done by researchers at Washington University in St Louis. While this aids them in surviving catastrophic climate change, it has a negative influence on their capacity to reproduce. Surprisingly, only male dragonflies show this change, while female dragonflies are unaffected.
