Eighty-nine Zilla Parishad doctors quit due to ill-treatment by Maharashtra officer

As many as eighty-nine doctors of the Yavatmal Zilla Parishad have resigned from their posts owing to the ill-treatment by district collector MD Singh. According to Dr. Sangharsh Rathod, secretary of the Yavatmal unit of Maharashtra, the collector started misbehaving when a delegation of doctors went to meet him with some demands including reservation of 50 beds in government medical colleges for doctors and relatives.
