Emergency measures revoked by Thailand PM amid widespread protests

Thailand Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O-Cha today revoked emergency measures that were imposed in the country to ban mass gatherings amid the ongoing protests against the current government. The emergency measures were imposed on October 15. Thousands of people in the country have been joining the protests for several days with the demands of curbing the powers of King Maha Vajiralongkorn. They also demanded the PM to stepdown.
