EMI option introduced by Adani Electricity after facing backlash over high bills

After facing heavy criticism on social media over the inflated electricity bills, Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited (AEML) has released a statement explaining how some conditions may have caused increase in electricity consumption. The company mentioned extended work from home hours as one of the reason behind more consumption. To make things easier for the consumers, the firm has also introduced EMI and digital payment options.
