First shot of Pfizer Covid vaccine found 85% effective in Israeli study

According to a study by healthcare workers at Sheba Medical Center in Jerusalem, the first dose of Pfizer Incorporation's COVID-19 vaccine has an efficacy of 85%. The overall efficacy of the two-dose vaccine stood at around 95%. The two shots are administered 21 days apart. The study comes days after some researchers from Canada called for a delay in administering the second dose while citing the efficacy of the first dose.
