The Taliban has asked US to stop operating drones over the Afghanistan airspace while warning of negative consequences. "We call on all countries, especially the United States, to act in accordance with mutual obligations to prevent any negative consequences," Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid wrote in a tweet. The Pentagon had earlier said that it will continue to conduct drone strikes against ISIS-K militants in Afghanistan.
