France suspends military operations with Central African Republic over disinformation campaign

In a major decision, the French government has suspended its military ties with the Central African Republic. France accused the Central African Republic government of failing to respect political opposition and failing to stop a 'massive' anti-French disinformation campaign. Apart from this, France has also decided to suspend nearly 10 million euros budgetary support for CAR, which is facing religious and communal violence.
