The storming of the US Capitol by a violent mob has prompted Germany to check the security arrangements of its parliament. The authorities are likely going to beef up the security given that demonstrators had attempted entering the Reichstag parliament building in Summer to protest against restrictions imposed by Chancellor Angela Merkel amid the Covid outbreak.
