Goal is to create 2 billion Covid-19 vaccine doses by 2021: WHO

The World Health Organization has said that it is aiming to develop 2 billion vaccines for Coronavirus by 2021. The global health body said its aim is to provide the vaccine to at least 20 per cent population in each country. “WHO is working on fast-tracking the process by aligning closely with vaccine developers," Chief Scientist Soumya Swaminathan said while explaining the evaluation criteria and regulatory requirements.
