Google said it is planning to make it free for merchants to sell on Google in a major move to push e-commerce amidst the coronavirus restrictions. While the listing of products will be free, businesses will have to pay Google to promote their listings. This free listing, for retailers, means free exposure to millions of people who visit Google for their shopping needs. Advertisers can go with paid campaigns with free listings.
