Got to know about my CDS appointment through TV news: General Bipin Rawat

General Bipin Rawat has shared an anecdote about how he got to know that he has been appointed as the first Defence Staff Chief. In an interview with CNN-News 18, the former Army chief revealed that he was aware of the speculations about him being appointed as CDS but wasn't sure but he finally came to know about the same through TV headlines and moreover Defence Minister Rajnath Singh gave him a confirmation of the same.
