Government warns 85% of Indians may get infected by Coronavirus if precautions not taken

The central government has warned that over 85% of Indians may contract the novel coronavirus if proper precautions are not taken. "The science behind the virus is such that it will spread and transmit from one person to five persons and from five persons to fifty," said V K Paul, member, NITI Aayog. He further added that the virus can be controlled up to 36-50% by wearing masks and social distancing.
