Govt issues guidelines for unlocking India in 3 phases, containment zones to remain in strict lockdown

MHA has released new guidelines for phased reopening of the nationwide lockdown which was to end on May 31. According to the plan, religious places, hotels restaurants, and shopping malls, will open from June 8. In the second phase, the govt plans to open educational institutions after consulting states and union territories. In Phase 3, the govt will open international air travel, metro, cinema halls etc.
