Gunfire erupted on the streets of Washington, D.C., near the White House. One person was killed and five others wounded in this incident. Metropolitan Police commander Stuart Emerman, said detectives are interviewing witnesses and looking for camera footage. The motive behind the shooting is still unknown and it is not an active shooting situation, he added. Two out of five wounded victims of the shooting are critical.
