Hasn't ordered Google, Apple to ban TikTok, other Chinese apps in India: Govt

Amid rising tensions with China over the killing of Indian soldiers, netizens were raising their voice to boycott Chinese apps and reports said that govt was also favouring them. Contrary to ongoing reports, the Government of India clarified it hasn't ordered Google and Apple to ban Chinese apps like TikTok and CamScanner from Play Store and App Store respectively. Earlier reports said that Govt had restricted use of Chinese apps.
