Healthcare workers in the United Kingdom will begin taking hydroxychloroquine on Thursday as part of a trial to test the drug's efficacy in preventing COVID-19. Over 40,000 healthcare workers from Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America will participate in the 'COPCOV' trial, which is being led by the University of Oxford.
