Hina Jaiswal becomes 1st Indian Woman Flight Engineer to be inducted by IAF

Flight Lieutenant Hina Jaiswal, coming from Chandigarh, has created history by becoming the first Indian Woman Flight Engineer to be recruited by the Indian Air Force. The task of a Flight Engineer is to monitor and administer complicated aircraft systems demanding a specialized skill set. She will be operating from the icy heights of the Siachen Glacier to the seas of the Andamans. Her dream has come true, Hina said.
