Hong Kong woman becomes fastest to climb Everest

Tsang Yin-hung, a 44-year-old woman from Hong Kong, has achieved a remarkable feat by climbing Everest in less than 26 hours. She scaled the 8,848.86-metre mountain in a record time of 25 hours and 50 minutes on Sunday, breaking the record of the fastest ascent. "She left the base camp at 1:20 pm on Saturday and reached (the top at) 3:10 pm the next day," Everest base camp's government liaison officer Gyanendra Shrestha said.
