Hyderabad police checking Whatsapp chats of people on roads for 'drugs'

Whatsapp chats have played a key role in the investigation into drugs cases. But the Hyderabad Police has taken it to another level. Cops in Hyderabad are stopping people on roads to check their Whatsapp Chats to find drug peddlers or consumers. “Yes, I am aware that phones are being checked. However, we are not forcing anybody nor are we snatching away their phones to check," Deputy Commissioner Gajarao Bhupal said.
