IAF aircraft completes 'emergency field landing' drill with 2 ministers on board on Rajasthan highway

A C-130J Super Hercules transport aircraft successfully completed the 'emergency field landing' drill on a national highway in Rajasthan's Barmer this morning. The aircraft landed with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Roadways Minister Nitin Gadkari and Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria on board. The landing drill was aimed at testing the quality of road infrastructure as emergency airstrips for the armed forces.
