IBNS announces Canadian $10 note world's best, features civil rights activist

The International Bank Note Society has called the Canadian $10 note the "Bank Note of the Year Award" for 2018. The front of the note features civil rights activist Viola Desmond while the back of the note features the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The country won the inaugural IBNS Bank Note of the Year Award in 2004 while ended up at the 2nd spot in 2011, 2012 & 2013.
