If you are holding, mining & trading cryptocurrency you may land into jail for 10 yrs

According to a draft by the govt., if a person holds, mines and trade cryptocurrency, he/she will be sent to jail for 10 years. Whereas the Supreme Court is yet to give any verdict on the issue in the 2nd week of July. As per the draft Banning of Cryptocurrency and Regulation of Official Digital Currency Bill, 2019, the govt will also suggest the entry of an official ‘Digital Rupee’ in consultation with the RBI.
