IG rank US State Department officer to probe withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan by Biden administration

The chaotic troops' withdrawal from Afghanistan by the Joe Biden-led US administration is going to be probed by an inspector general-ranked officer of the US State Department. There are a lot of factors that the officer will look into, including the State Department's special immigrant visa program and the process of giving clearance to Afghan nationals to take them in as refugees. Several similar probes are expected to be launched.
