Indian Medical Association has demanded action against the state's principal health secretary over his "derogatory" remarks against doctors. The association urged CM Hemant Soren to act against Dr. Nitin Kulkarni, who while addressing newly appointed doctors in Jharkhand on December 30 said, "People become doctors so that they don't have to work. And, some want to become doctor so that they get handsome dowry."
