Imam Bargah mosque in Afghanistan's Kandahar rocked by explosion, several feared dead

Days after a powerful blast at a mosque of the Shia community in Afghanistan's Kunduz, another blast happened in the PD-1 region in the southern province of Kandahar city near Imam Bargah mosque. Several people are feared to be dead as the blast happened during the Friday morning prayers. No group has taken responsibility for the attack. Just like the blast in Kunduz, this blast also targeted Shia Muslims.
