In Guwahati Auction, Arunachal's expensive purple tea sold at ₹ 24,501 for 1.2 Kg

India's love for tea is never going to die. Arunachal Pradesh's expensive purple tea was sold at an astonishing amount at the Guwahati Auction on Wednesday. Dugar Consumer Products Pvt Ltd. bought it at ₹ 24,501 for 1.2 per Kg. The tea is manufactured for the first time in India and is a special type of Kenyan brew made from purple-hued tea leaves. The presence of Anthocyanin in the leaves makes it purple.
