John Kerry, US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, lauded PM Modi's efforts and commitment to tackle the climate change impacts. "We believe India can be one of the most critical transitional countries in this entire endeavour," Kerry said while referring to India as a "red-hot investment opportunity for its clean energy transition." He also said that India and US have a lot to gain from challenging the climate crisis together.
