India has been handling coronavirus pandemic with utmost urgency from the beginning: WHO

Despite rising number of coronavirus cases, WHO has lauded India's efforts in handling the pandemic. The Regional Director of the World Health Organisation South-East Asia Region, Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh has said that India responded to the pandemic with utmost urgency from the start. She added that in the wake of coronavirus outbreak, India has been constantly enhancing its preparedness and response measures.
