India to get its first coastal police academy from next month

Nearly a decade has passed since the horrific 26/11 attacks and finally, now the country is going to get its first National Academy of Coastal Policing (NACP) that will safeguard the shoreline. NACP will manage a multi-agency team of paramilitary and Defence forces. The BSF, Coastal Guard and The Navy will be a part of the core committee. Navy and coast guard will provide required jetties and boats for the trainees.
