According to the ‘most likely’ model, "India is projected to reach its peak of 2.09 lakh active COVID-19 cases on June 20." According to SIER model, the figure is going to be even higher, 2.71 lakh, on the same day. For Maharashtra, which continues to be India’s worst-affected state, out projections indicate a peak of 64,479 active cases on June 14 according to the ‘most likely’ scenario. India has 1.66 lakh cases as of now.
