November 2019 was India's third-warmest November since 1901, with warmer than usual nights due to recurrent spells of rain and cloud cover. The mean temperature in India in November was higher than normal (climatological mean) by 0.72 degrees. November 2015 was the warmest in 118 years, with a 0.87-degree rise. The second warmest November was in 1979, when mean temperatures were 0.86 degrees higher than normal.
